Introduction to Gate Valve

Gate Valve Series is a linear motion flow control device primarily used to fully open or close fluid flow in pipelines. It operates by lifting or lowering a gate (wedge-shaped or parallel) via a stem and handle/actuator, ensuring unobstructed flow when open and tight sealing when closed. Its core components include valve body, gate, stem, seats, and actuator. Common types are rising stem and non-rising stem gate valves, suitable for medium and large-diameter pipelines. With a simple structure, good sealing performance and large flow capacity, it is widely used in petroleum, chemical, water supply and drainage industries, requiring regular maintenance to prevent gate jamming and ensure long-term reliable operation.
